NooN collective invite you into the intriguing world of fungi in a special evening at Moor Imagination Collective. Join us for a performance of extracts from Murmur with new material from their recent residency at Pavilion Dance South West; followed by a chat about all things mycelium and creative process.

Murmur explores and amplifies mycelium communication. Mycelium are the branching, fusing networks of fungi. It is as mycelium that fungi live the majority of their lives, unseen, underground. Much like us as artists.

 As we make this piece the fungi are teaching us new ways to be, to make, to unmake. We have listened closely, allowing what we sense, hear and see, to loosen our certainties. Mycelial networks have no fixed shape. By remodelling themselves they can navigate labyrinths and expertly explore their surroundings. We are inspired to try to do the same.  

7:30-8:30pm show; followed by post show talk. Bar open for drinks.

Creative Light Play workshop! Sat 11 Jan 2025 2-3pm 

If you fancy a deep dive into the processes involved in making the work, and to play with lights and creative tech, join the artists for a workshop at MIC earlier in the day! Suitable for all ages / no experience needed.
