Origin
On 21st December 2024 a year long learning journey was initiated around the question
“What is the earth providing by way of sustenance now?”
This question has already sparked so much conversation, learning and connection.
It has had us peering into the hedgerows, gardens, fields and allotments, with the question ‘Is anything growing there that is edible?'
You
The premise of the event is that you too hold the question with you and bring at least one thing that you have foraged, found, gathered etc. We will have the opportunity to reflect and share stories about what is available to eat, locally and seasonally, now. We will then get creative and assemble the foraged finds as a coreated mandala. It's not essential that you bring something foraged with you, there will be plenty of things provided.
Vibe
This is a creative space, accompanied by live music and other curiosities. With this event we hope to assemble those who care about food, celebration, life, growing and regeneration, for possibilities and opportunities to occur.
Future
The one after this one will be on Saturday 22nd March (Spring Equinox). These events will occur at every point on the wheel of the year, throughout 2025.
