THEOBROMINE TRANSMISSIONS: Cacao, Community, Consciousness

Join us for a cosy evening of community, connection, and consciousness fuelled by theobromine, an active compound found in cacao which contributes to its euphoric and mood boosting effects. 

Every  Friday from 6-late, our intimate Dalston home studio opens its doors for a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals  in the heart of bustling London. 

Indulge in heart-opening cacao and nibbles, music, and conclude the evening with a relaxing sound bath. Our experienced practitioners offer a range of wellness treatments, including tarot readings, massage, craniosacral therapy, energy work, and more. It's the perfect way to unwind after a busy week and nourish your mind, body, and soul.

• Ceremonial cacao (1 serving per ticket)

• No booze, no shoes!

• Our studio is located in Dalston, a 10 minute walk from Dalston Kingsland overground.
• Unfortunately our studio is not wheelchair accessible.
• We have a cat.
• While we are passionate about the many health-giving benefits of ceremonial cacao, there are  potential contraindications - if you have any health conditions please check this link. We have a range of teas on offer that you can enjoy as an alternative.

ĀKĀŚA Ceremonial Cacao

ĀKĀŚA Ceremonial Cacao is grown from ‘Arriba Nacional’, an endangered heirloom strain prized for its exceptionally complex and unique flavour profile. Sourced from a family in Quevedo, Ecuador, our cacao is grown in accordance with traditional agroforestry principles that protect unique biodiversity.

WHY CACAO?

At ĀKĀŚA, we are passionate about co-creating a more joyful,  compassionate, and loving world. To even be able to fathom how such a world could look, we need to be able to slow down, take deeper breaths, and engage with the reality of the present moment. 

When our nervous system is on high alert (fight/flight/freeze/ fawn), it's near impossible to dream big or connect deeply.

The stimulating effects of caffeine were pivotal to the success of the Industrial Revolution. Coffee helped to sever our connection to natural cycles and replaced it with clock time; enabling us to work around the clock. We believe that the time is now for the reemergence of an ancient plant ally.

In her pure form, ceremonial cacao can help us slow down, facilitate connection, reset our body’s circadian rhythms, nourish us, and help us dream a more harmonious future together.
