Welcome to Wintering Well - Reframe & Befriend Winter 

As winter settles in, many of us feel the weight of shorter days, colder weather, and the challenges they bring—whether it's low mood, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), or simply the heaviness of slowing down.

But what if we could reframe this season? What if we could befriend winter and find nourishment in its quiet gifts?

This evening we will explore how we can 'befriend winter' to enrich our inner life, feel connected, and align with the rhythms of the season.

Join me for a restful and nurturing evening as we delve into:

 

Mindful Movement: Release tension and prepare for a restful sleep.

Sensory Activities: Foster awareness of winter's unique gifts.

Rest & Reflect: Cultivate warmth, renewal and inner balance.

About me:

I am Sebnem. 

My intention is to create a safe and compassionate space where you can bring awareness to both your inner and outer worlds with curiosity.

With over a decade of experience supporting people affected by trauma, I offer a compassionate, safe space to help you reconnect with yourself. My journey began with an M.A. in Human Rights from the University of Essex, and since then, I’ve worked as an artist, mental health worker, and domestic violence specialist. I also collaborate with charitable organizations and East London NHS Foundation Trust, including City & Hackney Mental Health Services, to support individuals in their healing journeys.

As a yoga facilitator, mindfulness coach, and Reiki practitioner, I incorporate somatic movement, vagus nerve activation, and myofascial release to help you release tension and reconnect with your body. I frequently co-facilitate therapeutic groups and stay informed on trauma-informed care through ongoing training and supervision.

Based in London, I offer in-person and online sessions tailored to your needs, creating space for healing and self-discovery.
