Lammas Sacred Storytelling Ceremony

Hello beautiful friends, 

It's the seasonal peak of Summer! We are approaching Lammas- a cross-quarter festival. A time when the Corn Mother gives birth to her harvest child, The Grain. 

The energy in the natural world is shifting, the ripening of seeds and nuts is underway and it's time to gather in our own harvest of the year, both within and around us.

Let us join together around the Sacred Fire to honour this earth celebration through the Sacred Storytelling Ceremony!

Our performers for the gathering include an array of different talents from the local community including musicians, poets, and singers each with 10 minutes to share. A harvest of our local creativity!

The people sharing include:

• Billie Marie, Max Silver, Michelle Cadby, Adam Powell, Bambi, Annabel Marchetti, Bry, Kiowa and Alice Boydell
• Samantha Rose - Ceremonial Guide and Storyteller

Rituals will be woven alongside the community sharing and a hugely fun, interactive story. 

There will be food provided and we will feast together in the break.

Address- Pondfield, Droridge Lane, Dartington, Totnes, Devon, UK, TQ9 6JH 

Parking - Please carpool if possible as parking is limited.

Date – Tuesday 1st August.  

Time - Please arrive from 6:30 pm so you can settle. We are starting the ceremony PROMPTLY at 7 pm. 

IMPORTANT FOR ARRIVAL - This will be a closed ceremony so once we have started we won't let anyone else enter the space. Give yourself extra plenty of time to arrive and to find where it is if you haven't been before.  It will take some time to park, walk in and settle in for the start of the ceremony. 

What to Bring - Warm layers, enough water, a blanket, a mug, a bowl, something comfy to sit on, any treats to sustain you throughout the evening, and finally your wonderful self! 

Bursary Placement - If you need to access a bursary placement to attend please let me know. There are a couple available for each ceremony in exchange for helping set up and pack down.
