The World and Its History is a fun and fascinating new tutor group offered at Phoenix.
Taking a period of history as inspiration the sessions will spin lively projects, writing exercises and history and geography learning journeys building the skills necessary to access GCSE learning in the future.
This group is part of our access level groups for 11-14 year olds who are working roughly at a KS3 level and solidifies the learning required to form a pathway to GCSE.
Age range: Between ages 11 and 14

Clubs are bookable in blocks of 6, payable up front to secure your child's place.
Please note:
Prior skills needed:
-- A love of reading and the ability to independently read and research at around age 11-13 level.
-- The ability to write independently either handwritten or typed.
-- Quality of handwriting and spelling ability is irrelevant.
-- Commitment to a block of 6 sessions after the initial trial session.
