Bristol Psychedelic Society Monthly PsySocial
Grounding together with guided practices, sharing nourishing food, and collectively engaging with fascinating talks and conversations, these events are an opportunity to connect deeply and cross-pollinate with fellow consciousness explorers.
This Month's Theme: Western Psychology & Indigenous Practice
After spending the last eight years travelling and spending time with indigenous communities across the globe, psychotherapist and psychedelic facilitator Nadinne talks on how many indigenous elders are called to support the West. She talks on simple parallels that she sees in all the communities that make them thrive and how the West can learn from these simple principles to better develop ourselves.
Away from psychedelic medicines Nadinne has created a series of retreats and workshops combining western psychology with approaches learnt from the communities she has worked with to support individual and collective healing.
In this talk we get a glimpse of the work she has created.
Special Guest: Nadinne Dyen

Nadinne is a clinical psychotherapist, founding director of an intersectional trauma informed therapy centre and psychedelic assisted therapist.
In her quest to better work with trauma she has explored and researched approaches outside of Eurocentric Psychology spending the last eight years working with Indigenous communities from Central and South America but mostly Sub-Saharan Africa initiated in both the Sangoma tradition of South Africa and Bwiti Tradition of Central Africa offering therapy in a ceremonial form in combination with clinical knowledge with psilocybin and Iboga.
Nadinne supports the voices of the indigenous people in their call to support the West.
