Come on this ancient experience of harvesting, processing ,cooking and foraging for mushrooms !
We are joined by the most amazing teacher and professional mycologist Christian Taylor.
Dr. Christian Taylor is a member of the British Mycological Society education committee and British Ecological Society and have a PhD in fungal and insect ecology. He teaches ecology and biological science through the Open University and have worked for 20 years as a Science Teacher at schools.
We will forage for a few hours collecting what we can , then return back to the car park in the woods and have a feast of all the mushrooms cooked in butter or oil !
If we have time Johnny tidd will give an hours lecture and demo on lighting mushrooms with flint and steel at the end of the day . Everyone can then give it a go .
