WHAT: A 3 hour journey accessing divine love through embodied dance & sensual breathwork. The event will include a somatic dance to a carefully curated playlist, inviting in healthy activation and aliveness (ALL parts of you are welcome) by Nat Shilton @natalieshilton, followed by a sensual down-regulating breath journey spiral slowly inward & unveil your parasympathetic power by Ash Blasbery @sensecircleandbreath

There will also be education shared about nervous system regulation, the art of relating and receiving, journal prompts to tap into your body's wisdom and space for sharing and expressing in community with nourishing Nakery Treats.

WHEN: Saturday 15th Febuary // 11-2pm.

WHERE: The Inner Guru CIC // 3 Efik House, 81 Walton Rd, Liverpool L4 4AF.

WHY: To receive support and guidance as you explore the experience of divine love within yourself. As humans, we are deeply wired for connection and belonging, yet many of us unknowingly seek external validation of love before we’ve fully cultivated it within ourselves. Our nervous system often gravitates towards familiar, comfortable patterns - even if they no longer serve us. This journey invites you to reconnect with your inner source of love, allowing you to witness old patterns whilst being curious about new, empowering ways of relating to yourself and others.

HOW: Dance and free movement in anyway that feels accessible to you (imagination channels are very potent ways to access movement if mobility is limited) that promotes up-regulation and healthy activation, a conscious connected breath journey that promotes down-regulation, writing prompts to reveal your body's wisdom and any messages it may have for you, and a sharing space to voice and express.

Come and dance with all parts of you and call in more aliveness, to spend time in community, connection and co-regulation and discover the power of your very own breath.

WHO: This is suitable for you if:

  • You feel ready to say YES to more aliveness, to remembering and coming home to your bodily wisdom (remembering that sometimes your most powerful YES is sometimes saying yes to your NO), this is a space where you get to reclaim your agency, your choice and show up in whatever way you need.
  • You are curious, and want to learn more about nervous system regulation in a compassionate way.
  • You want to explore dance freely & playfully and release expectations on what dance should be or what it should look like, to experience what it feels like to let go and follow the bodies impulse.
  • You feel called towards somatic work and want to understand your body's language.
  • You want to journey with the breath and get to know your own nervous system more, learning tools for both up-regulation/healthy mobilisation and down-regulation/relaxation.
  • You want to connect with community and lean into co-regulation in a supportive space.

It is not suitable for you if:

  • Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB) is not suitable for everybody. Although this particular session will be a downregulating, parasympathetic version of CCB, please do get in touch if you are associated with any of the following: Schizophrenia, unmedicated bipolar or psychosis, unmanaged PTSD, epilepsy or seizures, heart conditions or arrhythmia, COPD or pre-existing lung conditions, delicate and/or first trimester pregnancy, high blood pressure, very low blood pressure with fainting history, severe asthma, glaucoma and or/ detached retina, severe osteoporosis, recent major surgery.
