Join us for a critical, compassionate, and curious discussion about the challenges of trauma recovery as 21st-century humans. This talk will explore the transformative potential of ayahuasca and psychedelic-assisted therapies in addressing the often invisible wounds of PTSD. Arabella Scott will share her personal journey of healing with ayahuasca as part of groundbreaking PTSD research conducted on a retreat with Heroic Hearts Project UK. She will be drawing on 13 years of experience in military and NHS emergency care and as a childhood abuse survivor. Her story sheds light on the complex interplay of trauma, shame, and systemic betrayal, illustrating how this ancient plant medicine helped her reclaim a sense of agency, dignity, and hope.

This talk will explore the complexity of navigating spiritual crises within contemporary healthcare paradigms while reflecting on the role of awe, embodiment, and relational care in fostering genuine, long-term healing

Following the talk, there will be an opportunity to ask questions, share perspectives, and connect with like-minded others.
