STRANGE NEWS
A new project from highly acclaimed saxophonist Steve Buckley featuring three of the UK’s top jazz/world music players ;- Mike Outram on guitar, Jihad Darwish on bass & Jem Fatna on drums.
Known by some locally as the Holy Trinity saxophone player, Steve is also an established and highly respected musician on the UK jazz scene having performed and recorded with many of the UK’s best jazz players nationally and internationally.
Expect to hear groove-oriented original material reflecting Steve’s long-standing and deep connection with African and Latin American music all imbued with a contemporary jazz attitude.
