Come along for 20 workshops and demonstrations, a stalls market, a pop-up unusual edible perennials plant stall and a ‘families at the festival’ zone. Enjoy discussions, networking and learning about creative solutions for a sustainable, healthy future.

Families at the Festival
Join us at Families at the Festival. Explore the garden at Cecil Sharp House with your children, collating a treasure box and joining a garden trail to explore the community garden using all your senses. We will also help you explore the stalls market with an exciting scavenger trail where you children can collect ‘treasures’ from some of the stalls. In the garden, you can enjoy crafts and storytelling with your children, making your day at the Permaculture Festival a fun experience for every member of the family.
Activities will include:
- Making and decorating a treasure box
- A garden trail to explore the garden
- Meet the chickens and quails
- A scavenger trail to explore the stalls market
- Storytelling
- Natural painting
- Mini-beasts to explore
- Clay medallion modelling
- Pixel art

Volunteers
We rely on 50-plus volunteers to put on the festival each year. We have 6 teams you can get involved with: programming, stalls, publicity, cake stall, families at the festival and the crew on the day.
