Hello beautiful beings

I am delighted to be playing this Saturday at Mark Bruce Company!

Ill be playing raw earthy vocal/drums, breakbeats, deep bass, and glitch hop, a couple of quirky numbers,  and as many strings as I can squeeze into it.

This will be my Frome debut!

I have previously at Glastonbury’s weekly DanceChurch. I have been dancing at conscious dances for many years. I am new to DJing this year. I’ve been well supported by both Frome’s Matthew Adams/ DJ Manarva and Glastonbury’s Gaz Cloud, who between them have 40 plus years in DJing experience.

I’m very excited to be filling Mark Bruce’s black backdrop with tingling velvety soul delving sounds! And very happy to be leading the dance space in a journey of unfolding, opening, meeting and integrating.

I look forward to seeing you on the dance floor.

19:00: doors open:  tea, warmup on the dance floor with gentle sounds

19:30: circle, ecstatic dance

21:15: closing circle, tea, chill

ECSTATIC DANCE

ecstasy (from Ancient Greek ἔκστασις ékstasis) is a subjective experience of total involvement of the subject, with an object of his or her awareness

in classical Greek literature it meant the removal of the mind or body "from its normal place of function"

ecstatic dance is a liberating, alcohol-free experience where there are no expectations—only pure, unbridled self-expression

come as you are, move as you feel

as the DJ weaves a tapestry of eclectic beats, soulful melodies and deep  bass, we let the dance emerge as it may...
