Celebrating Jo Vaani through Kirtan Music

Come celebrate, sing and gather in honour of Jo Vaani (31st Dec 1978- 21st Sep 2015), who was an international kirtan musician and humanitarian who touched many hearts and lives.  Her short life left a long legacy, and her music and story influenced and inspired me greatly to begin my Kirtan journey.

She sang with her husband Edo, and together they toured the world, setup a charity offering free meditation, yoga and music for many experiencing hardships, and frequently visited vulnerable communities to uplift, spread love, and joy. 

Her energy was so pure, authentic and loving, and she encouraged everyone to follow their bliss and try to  live free from fear.  

Here is one of my favourite albums, and I will be singing some of these on the evening!

Everyone is welcome to come, even and especially if you don't think you can sing! I only discovered my voice a few years ago! 

We all have a voice and a beating heart, and these evenings are about connecting to our hearts and creating an offering in this way!

Please bring a cushion, and anything you would like to add to the altar space if you wish.  There will be chairs for those that prefer not to sit on the floor.
