Join me for a welcoming and affirming queer space! This is for you if you're trans+, intersex and/or a queer woman.
This circle offers an opportunity to share and explore all things related to relationships, sex, intimacy, touch, pleasure and body image. Too often, mainstream discussions about sex, intimacy, and relationships don’t make space for the unique experiences of queer and trans people. This circle is different - it’s a place where our stories, our bodies, and our desires are centred and valued.
Together, we’ll engage in group and partnered verbal sharing and I will lead us through individual practices to tune in to our bodies, both to begin and end our time together. All feelings and experiences are welcome here - the difficult, the tender and the joyful. This is a space to be seen, heard, and held in community.
Please note that this is not a group therapy space and whilst challenging emotions and situations are welcome to be shared, the structure of the session means that it is not a suitable place to bring active trauma.
The event will take place in a venue in the South Lanes, the space is up five flights on the third floor and the toilet is on the first floor. There is a sofa, two armchairs and a chaise lounge in the room, depending on numbers some of us will need to sit on the floor.
