Dave Green is a London based artist who creates simple line drawings in his lucid dreams which he then re-creates upon waking up. There are two versions of each drawing - one created with a dream pen and a dream piece of paper and another version which is a copy of that drawing. The resulting artworks are not depictions of dreams. They are replicas of things created in the dreamworld. Informed by the latest sleep and dream research Dave uses this unique process to explore various aspects of the dreaming mind. 

Born in London Dave Green graduated from the Fine Art course at Sheffield Hallam in 2007 but quickly left the art scene behind to pursue a career as a stand-up comedian. He recently started making art again during the Covid pandemic when the forced isolation of lockdown allowed him to rekindle his childhood interest in lucid dreaming.
