Mia Wignall is a passionate art facilitator dedicated to guiding others on a journey of self-expression and healing through creativity. With a background in art therapy, having completed a course in London, and a degree in Illustration, she has spent her life using art as a powerful tool for emotional exploration, self-discovery, and healing.
As a neurodivergent artist, her creative journey has been deeply motivated by her own experiences navigating mental health. Art has been her sanctuary—a way to process emotions, connect with her subconscious, and bring a sense of balance to her inner world.
It was through this journey that Moody was born—her series of expressive art workshops designed for those who struggle to feel seen and heard. She recognised a deep need for safe spaces where emotions could be freely explored and expressed without judgment. Moody creates an environment where participants can translate their feelings onto the canvas, using movement, texture, and colour as a form of release and self-understanding.
In her workshops, she fosters a space of playfulness, curiosity, and freedom, encouraging participants to let go of restrictions and embrace self-expression without judgment. She challenges the idea of "good" or "bad" art, instead helping others see their creations as unique reflections of their inner world—expressions to be explored and celebrated rather than critiqued.
Her workshops blend movement, mess, and mindfulness, creating a space where participants can reconnect with their creativity without fear. Whether guiding adults through deep emotional work or sparking joy and imagination in children’s sessions, she finds immense fulfilment in sharing the healing power of artistic expression.
Over the past year, she has worked as a freelance workshop leader, hosting transformative art experiences for both adults and children. This work has become her soul mission—to help others rediscover their creative voice, release emotions, and embrace art as a pathway to self-discovery and healing.
