I discovered herbal medicine while travelling in Zanzibar at the age of 20 and I returned to the UK to begin a Herbal Medicine Degree at Middlesex University. I worked for many years at Neal’s Yard Remedies in Bristol, where I discovered a love of bodywork and I enrolled in holistic massage at the Bristol School of Massage and Bodywork where I trained with Andy Fagg, the founder of the course.
At this point I started to connect with my own trauma buried deeply in my body from the sexual abuse that I experienced in childhood. My path led me to Jewels Wingfield and I completed The Year Long Initiation into the Sacred Feminine with her. Beyond the release of trauma, I finally began to realise the importance of claiming my womanhood and I began to understand my cycles and how to work with them.
In the decade that followed I qualified as a Lomi Lomi Massage Therapist, which is a beautiful Hawaiian style of massage traditionally used in rituals for rites of passage. I also trained in Shamanic Womb Massage with Angie Twydall. This work includes Herbal Yoni Steam, for which I prescribe herbs that are tailored to a client’s specific needs.
I have now been working in the field of women's wellness for over 20 years, holding circles and workshops as well as with 1:1 clients. In 2024 I began a year-long programme for girls aged 9-13 introducing them to their womb wisdom and guiding them through the threshold of menarche (first blood).
Most recently I have been apprenticing with the School of Sunheart Shamanism, taking me more deeply into the feminine mysteries through the map of womanhood and soul mending. With this I have started deepening my connection to the orgasmic life force energy through my training with Hannah Graceful Dawn, who is initiating me as a keeper of the ancient Myrraphore wisdom of the sacred oils and the temple of the womb.
I am able to weave together all of these healing elements, offering uniquely tailored treatment plans for the women I work with. The central focus of my work is the womb space, spiralling out and looking through whatever then emerges in the body.
This work is so deeply satisfying and so greatly needed that I am forever grateful to have the opportunity to continue to grow and develop my calling.
