Mark Hashimi is an accredited trauma psychotherapist and counsellor, certified transactional analyst, shamanic practitioner and workplace wellbeing consultant. He has worked in a variety of settings including the NHS, Mind, private practice and is a board member of a well known UK suicide prevention charity.

Mark founded Conscious Psychotherapy to bridge the gap between modern psychotherapy and ancient shamanic healing and takes a “psycho-shamanic” approach to healing and recovery.

In private practice, Mark integrates EMDR, trauma psychotherapy, transactional analysis, relational psychotherapy, CBT and shamanism into his work to assist clients with healing their whole selves. He does not believe in a one size fits all approach to healing and so integrates what is necessary for growth subject to individual circumstances.

Mark is also the Director of Strategic Wellbeing, a global mental health training consultancy working with large corporate businesses to improve workplace wellbeing. Organisations Mark has mentored include:
