Hi, we're Alice & Dani!

We met when our babies were born in February 2023 with the same wonderful doula that is Kim. We bonded over a mutual frustration for the lack of support we had in our early motherhoods, a mutual desire to raise our children outside of mainstream systems and a yearning to return to village life, surrounded by sisters and mothers.

So we committed to creating the space that could nurture and empower both mothers and children, together. Through our love for our families and the families around us (and our love for boldly bucking societal norms!), Rising Rooted Village was born.
