Rowan Woodhouse is a leading wellbeing trainer, speaker and guide for breathwork, passionately sharing the enlivening and healing power of the breath.
Creating a protected space of calm, value and efficacy is at the core of Rowan’s offerings. He is a wearer of many hats, appreciated in his past in varied roles as a software engineer at a small electronics company, small business owner, primary carer for his children, restorer of a listed cob house and a technical sound and lighting wizard in theatre.
Rowan is an embodied, centred breathwork specialist. Mastering breakwork from years of research, study, practice and regular use. He took an exceptionally deep dive into the practice to regulate, enquire and hold his family as his wife navigated through a mental health crisis to a sound mind. Acknowledging his gratitude for breathwork as a safe landing and an uplift, he offers, among other things, a free monthly online men’s breathwork group.
Rowan trained with the Hale Center in Stockholm where he is a well established guide and teaches others to guide breathwork. He has a very long history with the breath from scuba diving, free diving, Tai Chi and Qigong. The door to breathwork was further opened in 2017 when he attended a deep breathwork class and discovered his own medicine and the desire to explore the field and full potential of the breath.
He passionately researched the many roots and techniques and the emerging scientific discoveries, enjoying the academic understanding as well as using different techniques in different situations and practical applications. He loves the aliveness, greater adaptability and access to his soul that come while practicing and guiding breathwork. He is on a path that keeps opening up to share his knowledge and expertise with more people, helping them to directly experience the power of the breath.
Rowan uses breathwork to enter magical, calm, centred or connecting states, supporting the body, mind and spirit.
