This policy explains how Dandelion uses cookies and similar technologies. For more about how we handle personal data, read our Privacy Policy.
Our Approach
We use necessary cookies to make Dandelion work and keep it secure. Optional analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you choose to allow them.
You can change your choice at any time from Cookie preferences.
Necessary Cookies
These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off through Dandelion's consent controls.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
rack.session | Keeps you signed in, remembers session choices and protects account workflows. | Up to 1 year |
dandelion_cookie_consent | Stores your cookie preferences. | Up to 1 year |
| Security and payment workflow cookies | Support fraud prevention, checkout, forms and service security when those features are used. | Varies by provider |
Optional Analytics
Where an organiser enables analytics, Dandelion may load Plausible Analytics or Simple Analytics to understand page views, referrals and purchases. We use this only with your consent where consent is required.
Optional Marketing
Where an organiser enables a Meta/Facebook pixel or Google Ads conversion tag for an event or organisation, Dandelion may load it to measure visits, event views and purchases. This is optional and is only loaded with your consent.
Third-Party Services
Some features use third-party services, such as Stripe for payments, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot prevention, Google Maps for location search, and Iframely for embedded content. These services may use cookies or similar technologies when you interact with those features.
Browser Controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop sign-in, checkout, forms or other parts of Dandelion from working properly.
