The Foundations of Tarot: An Introductory Workshop

Join me at Mycelium Space, for this fun and interactive three-hour workshop that aims to provide participants with a foundational understanding of the Tarot cards, through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exercises. 

We will begin the workshop with a short grounding and chakra meditation, followed by an intention setting exercise. The meditation will create an optimal state for our intuition to flourish , which is essential for reading Tarot. 

Discover the magic of Tarot; dive into the rich tapestry of Tarot history and the fascinating modern evolution of the cards and learn how this mystical tool guided seekers for centuries.

Explore the composition of a Tarot deck, including the Major and Minor Arcana, the four suits and the court cards. In addition, you will learn how to interpret the card’s powerful imagery and symbolism. This will involve a group exercise and discussion, followed by a personal reflection exercise and journaling session on the card's symbolism.  

You will then learn how to weave a narrative by connecting the individual cards to craft a meaningful story. This will be followed by a collaborative reading exercise. 

This workshop will empower you to unlock the Tarot's potential as a tool for personal development and growth. In addition, you’ll build confidence in reading the cards, both for yourself and others.
