Sober rave

Saint Cecilia graces one of the stained-glass windows of ILKON, and, is the patroness of music. So, it feels correct to rave here.

Come and dance however "dance" looks for you.

A few event details:

An eclectic mix of music from across the eras via silent disco headphones (provided).

We’ll start and end by connecting with our self, each other, grounding into the space & moving our bodies in whatever way feels good to us. Previous dance experience not required. No expectations on how to move.

Move in whatever way feels best for you. If you need to take a break, take a break. If you want to rave for an hour non-stop, go for it. If you want to try your best moves out, bring 'em along. If you want to close your eyes and let the music take you, do it!

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. I bring the fun with dancing props and a lil fancy dress which is absolutely celebrated however not compulsory.

Enjoy the current and permanent art collection while you dance too.

The café is closed on Sunday's so please bring you own tea, water and snacks.
