Art Medicine Journey - A somatic exploration through the Four Elements

Join us in this immersion designed to awaken your body's creative process in deep relationship with nature - recognising the forces of the essential elements of life and reclaiming a language of connection with the natural world and the imaginary beings of the collective unconscious that inhabit it.

In this work, Art becomes Medicine and Creativity becomes a sacred path to healing. We use art practices - butoh, dance, movement, voice, improvisation - as tools to investigate ourselves and access authentic expression, intuition and presence. Guided by Cacao medicine and the Four Elements - earth, water, fire ,air - we open our senses to the natural world and to what is alive within us, letting this dialog awake and shape our creative expression.

Art Medicine is a creativeoffering that seeks to shatter the screens that devide us, opening poetic channels of connection through the body. It expresses the exuberence of nature, while weaving spirituality as the guiding thread that flows through the act, illuminationg the scene.

Connect with like-minded individuals, learn new techniques, and explore the intersection of art and medicine. We welcome people from all walks of life who are called to waken their creative spirit and return to the wisdom of their authentic self. Immerse yourself in a supportive and inspiring environment as you delve into the healing power of art.

This in-person event happens in two different places:

• Workshop in the studio: the Golden Egg Centre  (12th & 13th) and at a London Park (14th).
• Integration experience in the forest - E4 9RJ, Highams Park

What to expect:

• Develop spatial awareness, attuning to the body's relationship with space and energy.
• Open deep body channels of communication with the elements of nature, fostering a living connection.
• Create a ritualistic offering, drawing inspiration from both the external world and their own inner nature.
• Learn to transform what arises into a ceremonial act of expression.
• Craft a handmade costume using elements from nature, connecting body and environment.
• Cultivate the practice of being fully present in the moment, responding to what is needed, rather than performing a character for the audience.

Who is it For:

Weather you are an artist or not, this work is for anyone who wishes to explore Art as a tool for self-discovery, connection and expression.

How it Works:

You can participate in the whole workshop of choose a day

• 12th September - we will work with Earth and Water
• 13th of September - we will work with Fire and Air
• 14th of September - integration experience in nature (optional)
