What is Authentic Relating?

Authentic Relating is a global movement of deep social connection explored through games and activities, ranging from the joyful, creative and silly to the provocative and moving.

But it's more than just some activities for connection. It is relational activism for a world that teaches its children to hide their true thoughts and  feelings, and to fill the space talking about the weather and oh so many facts.

Authentic Relating guides us to break down these barriers of restrictive social convention and to express ourselves more honestly and fully. When we do so, we are seen more for who we are, in all of our glorious facets and the experience can be quite profound. AR opens us up a whole new world of more creative, meaningful and fun possibilities in conversation and connection. Those who us who delve in the world of Authentic Relating often report it has transformed the way we show up in our relationships and social situations.

Booking & Attending 

Each of these weekly sessions is standalone but regular attendees will be rewarded with a growing and deepening experience and will notice that some of the magic makes its way into their everyday lives. 

Total beginners and experienced AR'ers all welcome. Just bring yourself. No special clothing or props are needed. There may be some light movement or activity but nothing you can't do in jeans, a skirt, etc…

Pre-book online to guarantee a place (it's cheaper too). 

If you need cancel, please do so before the day of the event and  we'll refund you the full cost.

Drop-in's are allowed provided there is space. Cost is £15 on the door (cash or bank xfer). …But yes, we'd prefer pre-booking online so we can better prepare 🙏

The venue is The Centre for Science & Arts, 13 Lansdown, Stroud. We're in the GOLD ROOM ⭐. Please arrive 5-10min early so we can begin promptly.
