Join Vaughan on the 3rd Mondy of the month for a mens sharing circle and breathwork session.

This is a space where men can speak openly, explore what lies behind the masks we wear in day to day life, and connect with other men in a healthy space.

The sharing circle is an invitation to explore emotions, experiences, challenges, concerns, goals and successes. Sharing vulnerability can be cathartic and empowering. There is often a sense of relief and lightness as we let thoughts and feelings out of the echo chamber of the mind in a non-judgmental space. You have permission to offer and receive support and feedback, and to co-create an arena for growth and self development.

You will then be guided in conscious connected breathwork. This is a tool to step back from the internal narratives, self judgment and control patterns of the mind. This is a self healing modality that supports grounding, self compassion, and clarity. Blocked energy and emotions can soften and recalibrate, allowing  greater acceptance and compassion for aspects of life that have been challenging.

After the breathe you will then move into groups of 2 or 3 men and have the opportunity to share insights, reflection and build connection.

About your facilitator

Vaughan is a trained yoga, breathwork, mindfulness and wellbeing facilitator, with a passion for supporting spaces that allow people to thrive rather than simply survive. Trained in level two Non-Violent Communication (NVC), motivational interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), his work explores a hybrid of cognitive and somatic work to find balance and flow in everyday life.

Preparing For Your Session

As we are doing breathwork during the session, participants are advised to avoid eating for at least 2 hours beforehand. Stay well-hydrated, and drink plenty of water throughout the day beforehand.

I suggest participants wear loose comfortable clothing with no tightness or restriction around the abdomen.

Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket, a pillow or cushion and some water to drink. An eye mask is also good, but not essential.

Health Considerations

While breathwork can benefit many individuals, there are certain conditions where caution or avoidance may be necessary. Please be aware that the following conditions are contraindicated for Conscious Connected Breathing:

1. History of seizures or epilepsy
2. First Trimester of Pregnancy, and when trying to conceive
3. Detached retina or any eye condition which can be adversely affected by changes in internal pressure.
4. Psychotic episodes.

By signing up for breathwork sessions, participants confirm they do not have any of the conditions mentioned above and release me from any liability related to your participation.

My clients safety and well-being are my top priorities and if there are any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact me in advance, or talk to me on the day.
