Youth Workshop: Alfredo Alchemist - Crafting Your Perfect Pasta

Hey youth! Ready to ditch the pre-made sauces and level up your pasta game? Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop where YOU'LL create a delicious Alfredo sauce from scratch – your pasta, your way! Whether you love classic creamy goodness or a fantastic vegan alternative, we've got you covered. Parents, family, and your support crew are all welcome! This workshop is beginner-friendly, so no prior cooking experience is necessary!

In this workshop, you will:

  • Master the art of Alfredo: Learn to whip up a rich, creamy Alfredo sauce from basic ingredients, with options for both classic and vegan versions.
  • Customize your creation: Personalize your pasta dish with a variety of tasty toppings like chicken, tofu, broccoli florets, and spinach.
  • Become a stovetop strategist: Discover how to effectively utilize limited stovetop space to cook multiple components of your meal efficiently.
  • Learn helpful kitchen skills: Practice essential kitchen safety, including knife handling and hygiene, in a practical cooking environment.

What you'll need:

  • Your appetite for fun and food!
  • We've got all the ingredients and gear covered.
  • Bring a container if you wanna stash some delicious leftovers for later!
  • You're welcome to bring a support friend or family member(s) – just let us know upon registry so we can plan accordingly!

This workshop is totally FREE! Just RSVP through the Dandelion Event Page. Got questions or need to change your RSVP? Hit us up at lcrc@lcrc.on.ca. If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make the most of our limited spots and ingredients!

We're committed to creating a welcoming experience for everyone. If you have any specific needs or require accommodations to participate fully, please let us know upon registry.
