As part of the LOSTFEST weekend in Lostwithiel we bring you a special acoustic show from Cornwall's finest in country-rock Bailey Tomkinson and the Locals, supported by emerging singer/songwriter Kitty Crocker.
Doors: 7pm
Music from 7.30pm
-
Coastal cowgirl Bailey Tomkinson, already acclaimed nationally for her solo work and recognized by The Times, BBC Radio, The Metro and more, is poised to make a big impact in 2025. Adding a full band sound as, "Bailey Tomkinson & The Locals," they deliver a blend of pop, surf-rock, and 70’s country/folk that has evolved into a souring, stadium-filling sound. 2025 promises to be a landmark for them, with a slew of new music and a comprehensive UK tour.
Hailing from St Ives, Cornwall and described as “Britain’s Answer to Taylor Swift” by the Daily Mail, Bailey Tomkinson made headlines as an unsigned, unmanaged act, outselling Dua Lipa & The Pussycat Dolls to reach #1 on the Video charts & then again when she gave voice to the frustration felt by many around inequality and the environmental vandalism with the chart-topping single “Bright Red”.
Their debut tour featured sold-out shows The Troubadour, O2 Academy Islington and Rough Trade Bristol as well as festival appearances at Wilderness, The Great Escape, Boardmasters and support slots with Keane, Tenille Townes (AEG Presents Tour), Steph Strings (Communion Tour) & Feeder.
Support for the night comes from Kitty Crocker…
Frequently featured on BBC Introducing in the Southwest, Kitty Crocker transcends whimsical lyrics with catchy melodies and playful song titles. Embodying musical flares of Americana and Indie culture, her debut EP ‘Wrong Place Wrong Time’ released in April 2024, has gained over 40,000 streams! Achieving ‘Track Of The Week’ alongside ‘Featured Artist’ on BBC Radio.
