Beltane: The Festival of Fire & Fertility

Beltane is a traditional festival marking the height of spring and the turning toward summer. Beltane is one of the 4 fire festivals of the wheel of the year and symbolises passion, fertility, and the sacred union of masculine and feminine energies. Beltane honours nature’s vitality, as the earth bursts forth with life and the sun’s warmth grows stronger. Beltane is a time of joy, love and sensuality, inviting us to embrace the wild, untamed spirit of life.  It is the perfect time to spend a day in the beautiful and wild wowo spa celebrating the power of sisterhood and the magic of nature with a day of ceremony, ritual and self care.

We will be honouring some of the traditional Beltane Celebrations:

🔥 Bonfires and Fire Rituals: Fire is the heart of Beltane; it symbolises transformation, passion, and protection. To honour this we will have our usual central fire to gather round and our fire will also be available (should any of us feel inspired) for leaping over  the flames (once they have died down of course).  We can jump the fire for blessings, prosperity, cleansing or another personal aspiration.  If you dont feel like jumping you can write something down and give it to the fire to do its magic.

💞 Love Rituals:  We will be celebrating the love that brings us together as sisters and the self-love and devotion we are showing ourselves as we circle, craft, sauna and steam.

🌸 Floral Offerings and Nature Celebrations: Flowers, especially hawthorn, rowan, and primrose, are gathered to decorate homes and altars  - Because we are making crowns we will be using some of these to craft them -  invoking the blessings of the land spirits and the fertility of the earth.

🍯 Feasts of Abundance:  We celebrate the richness and diversity of the land and the nourishment it provides by breaking bread together and enjoying  Green Goddess Soup and some gorgeous seasonal salad and side dishes.  Please contact us if you want/need more info!

Beltane is a celebration of life’s creative power, love, and the sacred dance of the cycles of life and existence. It is a time to step into passion, joy, and connection as we honour the turning of the seasons and move toward the full bloom of summer. 🌹🪷⚘🌺

Your ticket includes:
Morning
Calling in the sacred directions, a grounding meditation, a women's sharing circle around the fire, and crafting flower crowns and witches bells (all materials provided).

Afternoon
Four hours in the woodland spa which includes two saunas, a large greenhouse steam room, a cold plunge pool, cold showers, and hammocks to relax in - all nestled amongst the trees!

A lunch of Green Goddess soup and homemade bread + Salad and Side Dishes will be provided as well as hot drinks and treats.

You will leave relaxed & rejuvenated feeling sensuous and brimming over with Beltane passion.  You will take away with you your witches bells, flower crowns, super soft skin and a secret surprise!
