🎶 Vocal Improv All-Stars Night: Collaborative Concert and Circle-Singing with the Audience 🎤
🎙️ Featuring Muze Voices, Anthropos,  and Simi Yuyu (NYC, Gaia Music Collective)

📅 Tuesday Feb 27th
⏰ Doors - 7.00 pm
      Music from 7.30 pm
📍The Jago Dalston (upstairs)

🥂 Join us for an interactive collaborative concert followed by participatory circle-singing with audience presented by two of London’s leading vocal improv ensembles and a special guest from New York’s Gaia Collective.

🧑🏼‍🎤 This will be a night of play, self-expression and spontaneous song creation. Combining diverse genres and influences and with no set pieces or predetermined musical material, the evening will intuitively interweave story, poetry and more - allowing us all to co-create in the moment.

🔥 Unique, unrepeatable and not-to-be-missed!

🍹 Drinks will be available!

🎙️ Simi Yuyu is an interdisciplinary artist and CircleSinging facilitator for Gaia Music Collective (NYC). With a profound love for collective vocal activation and improvisation, Simi thrives in offering embodied workshops that awaken and elevate the voices of participants.

🎙️ Muze Voices presents an innovative and immersive musical experience where the boundary between performers and the audience dissolves into a harmonious collaboration. This event is not just a performance, but a live, improvisational vocal exploration, co-created in the moment with our audience. Imagine beginning with a mesmerizing, vocal-led sound bath, evolving organically into a participatory circle-singing session. Here, regardless of your prior singing experience, you're warmly invited to add your voice to the ensemble. This experience transforms dozens of strangers into a unified choir, each voice adding its unique tone to a rich, sonic tapestry. Together, we'll weave a journey of sound, where every note and harmony tells a story, crafting a shared musical narrative that is as unique as each participant. Join us for a journey where every voice matters, and every participant is both an audience and a creator in this extraordinary symphony of human voices.

🎙️ Anthropos: Songs of Humanity ensemble explores the roots of collective song before and beyond language. We began by asking ourselves; why did our ancestors sing and how did music emerge before its separation from daily life? We have recently performed at Germany’s TIN festival and are premiering an interdisciplinary project at the Ljubljana Dance Theatre later in 2024.
