The path of self-discovery and growth can be a lonely one. But we don't need to do it alone.
Welcome to the monthly Psychedelic Society Sharing Circle, a gathering for our members to connect with others, explore new topics related to personal growth and spirituality, and deepen your understanding of yourself and others.
Each month, we will focus on a different theme inspired by the seasons and their gentle teachings of how we might be in this world.
This month's theme: GRATITUDE
‘If the only prayer you said was thank you, that would be enough.’ - Meister Eckhart
The field of positive psychology offers bountiful scientific evidence of what we know intuitively - that giving thanks and appreciating ourselves and others is the foundation of a happy, meaningful and satisfying life. Those familiar with psychedelics also know it's a significant hallmark of the afterglow that comes with experiences of expanded consciousness. Feeling thankful both grounds and uplifts us.
But cultivating gratitude through everyday practices is our greatest source of power - whether it's writing in a journal, sending short messages to friends and family, or taking a meditative moment to reflect on the bounty of life. Sometimes we can call these rituals. And by approaching our practices with deeper intention and ritual, we imbue them with a special kind of energy.
In this circle, at the end of the harvest season, we will collectively explore the power of gratitude for the bounty of the year.
Order of events:
- Opening meditation on the power of gratitude
- Warm up and connection exercise through movement
- One-to-one sharing
- Gratitude ritual
- Group sharing circle
Location & getting there
We are delighted to be meeting at the beautiful home of one of our community members in South London, SW9, near both Stockwell and Brixton stations. We will send the exact address in your email confirmation.
These gatherings are for our members to offer a space for building deeper community in London. Want to join us? Join here from just £5 a month.
Whether you are new to the world of Psychedelic Society or have been with us on this journey for a while, our sharing circle offers a unique opportunity to connect, grow, and find your tribe. We look forward to seeing you there!
What you can expect:
- Connection: Our monthly events offer a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share similar interests, passions, and struggles.
- Self-discovery: Gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your place in the world. Sharing circles can offer a safe and supportive space to explore personal beliefs, values, and experiences, and to gain insights into how these factors shape our lives.
- Healing: By sharing our stories and experiences, we can release pent-up emotions, gain perspective, and receive validation and support from others who have gone through similar struggles.
- Growth: This will be a space for learning, reflection, and growth, as participants gain new knowledge, skills, and perspectives from each other.
