About Fran André
Fran is a bringer of embodied song and voice medicine. An experienced choir leader, and vocal facilitator she brings a transmission of freedom, playfulness and the encouragement for full-spectrum expression. She brings a passion for decoloniality into all her work, and is currently leading a project creating affinity group spaces for people of colour, people of mixed/dual heritage, and white-bodied kin to explore inner decolonisation in group specific ways using music, song, embodiment, grief spaces, meditation and circle sharing. As a student of 15+ years of awakening work Fran brings a strong grounding in embodied presence work to all her offerings.
IS THIS A QUEER WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT? IS THIS A BIPOC-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT? A NEURODIVERGENT FRIENDLY SPACE? A DISABILITY WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT?
Yes. We are here to support the full bio-diversity of life.
Please let us know any ways we can support any accessibility needs.
The studio has disabled parking and wheelchair access. Please call the Dartington Welcome Centre in advance to allocate the disabled parking space outside of Studio 6 for your use.
Trauma Sensitivity & Personal Responsibility
In this improvising workshop, we strive to create a space that is as safe and supportive as possible. Our approach is trauma-sensitive, meaning we encourage awareness, choice, and self-agency in movement and expression. However, given the improvisational nature of this work, we acknowledge that we cannot predict or eliminate all potential triggers.
We invite participants to take care of their own well-being by listening to their bodies, pacing their engagement, and stepping out or seeking support if needed. Facilitators are available for check-ins, and we encourage open communication to help navigate any challenges that arise.
Please assess before proceeding to buy your ticket, whether you feel emotionally resourced enough to engage with this practice at this time. If you are currently experiencing significant distress or instability, you may wish to consider whether this is the right moment for you to take part.

If you need you cancel your attendance then you are welcome to sell your ticket to someone else.
