Blue Lotus and Cacao Ceremony

Would you like to join us for an evening of connection, transformation and healing?

Using Plants, Movement, Stillness and Sound we take you on a shamanic journey of self-discovery. We combine Blue Lotus and Cacao with Egyptian Yoga, Breathwork, Meditation and a Sound Journey with Gong, Monochord, Crystal Bowls, Shamanic Drum and medicine music.

Blue Lotus has been used for thousands of years stemming back to Ancient Egypt for initiatory and celebratory purposes. Cacao is a deep heart opening medicine from the Amazon basin used for spiritual ceremony by the Mayans, and other ancient civilizations. We combine these powerful plants with Ancient Yogic techniques and Sound for sacred communion with the inner self.

This event will be held ceremonially calling on the plant spirits and our higher selves for healing and spiritual guidance.

Benefits of Sound?

Everything is frequency, and the difference between a state of bliss and despair is a matter of vibrational resonance. Meaning if you can change the sound you consume, you can change your state of being. We use our voices, crystal bowls, a water gong and other sacred instruments, to lead you through a shamanic sound bath. The spirits of the plants dance with the vibrations of sound created through us and take you on a sacred journey. Sound can penetrate your etheric field and help you to rebalance energy blocks and physical imbalances.

What are Blue Lotus and Cacao?

Blue Lotus is a sacred Ancient Egyptian flower that grows in the River Nile, emerging from the dark deep waters to meet the sun god Ra each day, and descending back into the river each evening - symbolic of the death and rebirth process the sun goes through each day.

A natural aphrodisiac it stimulates your connection with your second chakra (sacral) relating to sensuality, sexuality and enjoyment of life. Blue lotus is also great for cutting energetic cords to your previous relationships and other cords of attachment.

Cacao is a powerful and ancient Amazonian plant medicine that connects you to your heart center. She opens you to the beauty of unconditional love, allowing a deeper connection within. This can help with matters related to self-love and any heartache or heartbreak you may have experienced, be it relationships, business or grievances. Cacao acts as an antidepressant naturally soothing your stress hormones, it also contains powerful antioxidants and anandamide, the bliss molecule.

Ultimately cacao is the medicine of love, and when we connect to love in its highest form, anything is possible!

Opposed to the mildly sedative effects of Blue Lotus, Cacao is a natural stimulant - combined they bring you a relaxed, yet heightened experience for diving deep into your healing journey.

Benefits of Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation?

Yoga is the understanding and complete mastery of the mind. We follow Yogic philosophy which first guides us to discipline the body and mind through movement (Asanas). We then focus on breath control (Pranayama) to influence the flow of life force (Prana) in the energy channels (Nadis) of the energy body. This leads to a more easeful meditation experience, where we guide you on a healing journey within, which can lead you to deeper self-acceptance and balance.

FACILITATOR BIO

We are Luke, Bhavinie and Baby Rose Miller, family, and co-creators of Plant Spirit Sound. We share our passion for sacred plant medicine, music and the transcendent connection these healing modalities can bring us. We use our combined knowledge, experience and training of Yoga, Pranayama, Sound and Energy healing. We also hold shamanic ceremonies and healings. Together we anchor the powerful energy of unconditional love, and believe this is the question, answer and solution to all of existence.

Event Structure:

Note: Breathwork is best practised on an empty stomach of 4 hours. If possible, please refrain from eating from 3.30 pm, and 5.30 pm very latest.

18:30: Arrival.

19:00: Doors shut and the Plant Ceremony begins. There will strictly be no entry after this time.

19:30: Yoga and Pranayama (Breathwork).

20:00: Guided Meditation and Sound Journey.

21:00: Close Ceremony.

All are welcome and no prior experience in any of the above disciplines is needed.

Logistics: Please let us know if you are/or may be pregnant, take any medication, have a heart valve (or similar) or have any serious physical or mental health issues. This can be a contraindication, and we will make a separate brew without Blue Lotus for any pregnant mothers. It is important that you let us know. This does not necessarily mean you cannot join, but we may need to make a few adjustments to accommodate you. 

Please bring your own yoga mat or something comfortable to lay on. The venue has cushions and chairs, and we have a few mats, but not enough for everyone. So please bring what you need to match your desired comfort levels. Please bring a cup for plant medicine, there are only a few spares at the venue, and together we can love the Earth deeper by being more economical. Thank you in advance!

ACCESS:  We do our best to include everyone in our events, regardless of health circumstances. If you have access requirements please email the event organiser directly to discuss. Many facilitators are able to offer reduced ticket prices for those truly unable to afford the ticket price.
