Your Facilitator: Anna Bones
We are so excited to have Anna Bones teaching the Shibari class again, on behalf of Vermilion here is a little about her and what to expect…
Anna Bones fell in love with shibari in 2013 after attending her first rope event. This has led to a years-long obsession which eventually culminated in the creation of Anatomie Studio - the UK's largest and first ever dedicated shibari space - in June of 2015. Since then, she has dedicated her time to building community, teaching tying, bottoming and self-tying both in the studio and internationally. Most recently she's joined the roster of shibari teachers at Shibari Study, the largest online tutorial platform for shibari. Anna Bones is one half of a rope couple with her husband and partner in crime Fred Hatt, to whom she has been tying with for 8 years. Anna believes rope provides a beautiful opportunity to enhance physical and emotional connection, be it platonic or sexual. She loves how versatile it is as a tool, and is always discovering new things about rope and about herself through shibari. | ![]() |
