We are thrilled to welcome back our co-founder✨Rachael Caroub ✨ facilitating and  on the decks at the later time of 13:30-16:30... more sleep yeah!!

Rachael is renowned for her eclectic range of music, seamlessly weaving together a journey that brings you right into your body 💜 Her sets invite you to feel fully - allowing space for every emotion, every expression, whether bold or subtle, wild or still…

This Saturday is particularly special as we gather in a brand-new space: CROFT HOUSE 🤩 It’s a moment of celebration and reconnection—not only with each other but with the evolving vision of our dance community ❤️‍🔥

Rachael will also be offering a beautiful cacao circle to begin the dance and open our hearts with love ✨️🤎 Please select a ticket that includes cacao if you wish to drink🤎 ✨

Schedule:

13:30 - Doors open, registration, dance area goes into non-verbal space. Feel free to socialise outside or come into the area and drop into the practice early - stretch, meditate, move. Please leave bags, shoes, phones outside of the space. Bring water bottles inside 🙃 there are refills available.

14:00 - Doors close, opening circle begins***

14:00 - Cacao circle & guided warm up

14:30 - Unguided Ecstatic Dance journey

16:15 - Closing circle

16:30 - Space closes

***please arrive before the opening circle so that we can all start our journey together and explain the guidelines. We cannot guarantee entry after this time. Thank you!

Guidelines:

• Non-verbal dance space: this helps us to drop out of our mind and into our body (sighing / laughing / crying / sounding etc all allowed but leave the chit-chat for outside please!)
• Barefoot practice: Ecstatic Dance is generally a barefoot dance practice helping us to ground and connect to the earth (if you need to wear shoes, please bring indoor shoes and let a member of our team know. Socks can be slippy and dangerous).
• No drugs/alcohol: clear mind to embrace all that is alive in you beautiful you!
• Phone-free zone: let's de-screen! Please leave phones outside! The team may take short videos for promotional reasons - if you do not want to be in a video/photo, please let us know before or after the dance.
• Respect each other's personal space and freedom of expression: no need to dress to impress! This is not a space where you need to look good … this is a movement meditation.
• Feel free: dance how you want; as much or as little movement as is right for you - this is a non-judgemental space.  Feel free to close your eyes, bring a blindfold, dance to the wall... you do you!

What should I wear/bring?

• Wear comfy clothes you can move freely in - layers are useful as you might get really hot dancing then cool down when seated.
• Bring your beautiful self, a water bottle and curiosity!

What is Ecstatic Dance?

Ecstatic Dance is a moving meditation that has been taking the world by storm ⚡️Together we journey for ~2 hours to the most epic music from all genres, cultures and energies. We create a container for total freedom in expression, to move with whatever is present and to liberate ourself from whatever is holding us back.

Ecstatic Dance is transformative, fun, playful, deep... it releases endorphins, keeps us fit and strong, releases emotions, empowers us, challenges us, connects us to community, ourself, a "higher power" or source energy... it really can be one of the most magical and elevating experiences life has to offer!
