When we feel our emotions fully, we embrace their power and can show up on the world with clarity, empathy and agency.
Many of us have learned to manage or suppress our emotions, often without even realising it. We can either feel it’s not safe or that we are simply too busy to give space to how we truly feel. Yet our emotions hold vital energy and wisdom, and when they are ignored, they can manifest as anxiety, tension, or even physical pain. When we let ourselves feel them, truly feel them, allow them to move through our body and into expression, we find a sense of freedom, release, lightness and balance.
This two-hour session offers a gentle, supportive space to reconnect with your feelings through breathwork, somatic practice, meditation, and relaxation. We begin by arriving together through grounding meditation and gentle body-based practice, followed by a short optional sharing round for participants to set intentions. Then, guided breathwork allows emotions to move through safely and gradually, releasing tension from the body and helping the nervous system find balance.
Breathwork does not require us to explain our experience or analyse ourselves—simply the willingness to show up and breathe is enough. Participants share that they leave a breathwork session feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to themselves and others.
Trained in Holosomatic Body Therapy and meditation, I love to create a held space where you are free to feel without judgement or pressure. Whether you’re carrying unspoken sadness, tension, or simply seeking more ease, this session invites you to relax and breathe into a greater sense of freedom to be you!
About this session
I will be using the Holosomatic Bodywork Therapy approach, which combines rounds of conscious connected breathing with somatic touch (by consent). The purpose of this work is to gently bring the nervous system into an activated state and then return to regulation and resource. By breathing in this titrated way, the nervous system can gently release in stages and also re-learn a healthy pattern of moving itself in and out of regulation. You are always completely at choice as to how much you would like to breathe and a large part of this work is to come into a more intimate relationship with the shape of our nervous system and understand cues and symptoms to better manage our own regulation and recognise a stable ground from which we can live our lives.
