We're excited to have Bernardo Kastrup returning for a deep dive into the implications, ramifications and incredible insights that emerge from the revolutionary idea that ‘everything is consciousness.'  

This is a unique chance to engage with the West's most prominent champion of this liberating view.  As this understanding begins to filter through our psyches, some of life's most fundamental questions become newly fascinating and freshly invigorating: 

* What does this mean for our personal relationships, our dreams and our place in the natural world?
* How might we now understand death, trauma, health and sickness?
* What are the implications of psychedelic, out-of-body, mystical and near-death experiences?

How can this philosophy impart deep meaning and joy to how we live our day to day lives? 

There will be time for discussion, comments and questions, with Bernardo catering the content to our evolving curiosity and understanding of the material. 

We gather on zoom over four Tuesday evenings in a row, between 7pm and 8.30pm UK time, starting Tuesday 10th of November.

Joining this course includes free access to recordings of Course #1 ‘Breaking the Delusion of Materialism’. To get the most out of attending, please watch at least the first video from the first course, where you will be taken through the comprehensive scientific, philosophical and psychological evidence for this incredible philosophy.

Bernardo Kastrup's work has been leading the modern renaissance of the philosophical position, ‘metaphysical idealism’ that reality is essentially mental, an appearance in ‘mind.’  Bernardo has a Ph.D. in philosophy (ontology, philosophy of mind) and another Ph.D. in computer engineering (reconfigurable computing, artificial intelligence). As a scientist, Bernardo has worked for the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and the Philips Research Laboratories (where the 'Casimir Effect' of Quantum Field Theory was discovered). Formulated in detail in many academic papers and books, his ideas have been featured on Scientific American, the Institute of Art and Ideas, the Blog of the American Philosophical Association and Big Think, among others. Bernardo's most recent book is The Idea of the World: A multi-disciplinary argument for the mental nature of reality. Attending this sharing circle was a powerful experience for me. I got a lot of insights from what others shared and also from the discussions we had during the event and afterwards at the pub. It felt so nourishing to connect with people who find this subject as meaningful as I do. Since the event I’ve noticed feeling quite different to how I was in the days preceding - like an unfolding sense of peace and love. It might not be down to the circle 100% but I do think it has had a significant impact on me. I plan to go back to the circle as often as I can. Thanks to Jess and Danny for facilitating and to everyone else who shared their thoughts and experiences.

This is one of my favourite events of the month, the people who come here are so lovely and it is so well organised by the hosts Jess and Danny, I feel very blessed to have found this community. Its really amazing to get to hear different stories and perspectives from the people who gather here, It's wonderful to spend time with everyone in the pub also. I always arrange my schedule around this event and make sure im available for it. Finding this was a big step in the development of my social life, il always be so greatful. Super recommended! ...If you never try, you'll never know, and if you try you'll be so glad you did!

Led by lovely Jessica this was well held, big variety of people present but all kind and friendly. Space to share in pretty much equal time slots which I like a lot having been in/led peer groups a lot myself!
