Earth Mass - A Ritual of Reconnection and Remembrance 
 

For hundreds, if not thousands of years we, and our ancestors have been part of creating and sustaining a culture of disconnection, from our own bodies, our hearts, the land we live on, the communities we are meant to be closely weaved into, so we may become complicit in a culture that erodes soil, suppresses life and soul.
 

We believe we need spaces where we can come together, to remember and reconnect with what it means to be human, as part of our world, as part of a community that is being restitched with one another, with land, and our earth as part of a living cosmos.
 

Earth Mass is a place for our hearts to be stirred, our love for earth awakened, our hope for the world and our trust in our own humanity rekindled.
 

We will come together in reverence of our planet, to remember that we are part of the earth, and to feel ourselves intimately connected with all living things.

Our aim with Earth Mass is to support regenerative culture to anchor at the heart of place, to create space for the harmonisation of groups together with nature and for webs of community resilience and resonance to deepen and form.

We will meet at the Moor Imagination Collective space in Buckfastleigh.  We will spend some time coming into connection together as circle , before heading out to nature to reconnect with land (10 mins walk - easy terrain) before returning back to the space.  We will offer ways to  connect deeper with ourselves, with each other and with our world through poetry, song, ritual, embodiment, connection games, prayer and more. 

Each gathering will be structured as well as emergent and at the end of our time together we will enter a circle sharing space where you will welcomed to bring your contributions to our weaving, such as a poem, a song, a short story, a heart sharing.

Exchange: 
 

We ask for donations to this event of between £5-15. Events for Church for Earth are held by community, for community, with each Earth Mass being held in different constellations by a core team. Donations go towards venue hire, facilitation and to support the flourishing of a future Church for Earth in place.

We are holding this space for adults only at this stage with the prayer of working to include Children at future events soon.
