All monies from this event go to the non-profit UK charitable trust The Shollond Trust (1059551) to support the work of sharing the Headless Way.
How often do we really look and see, with fresh eyes, as if for the first time? Through conducting a series of "experiments" covering two days, Richard Lang will guide participants through an experiential exploration into the nature of Reality and Our place in It, primarily through the field of visual perception. This will be our opportunity to See anew, as Friends. So come and play, with an open mind and childlike curiosity, as we embark on this Inner journey Home Together.
Facilitator:
Richard Lang is Co-ordinator of the Shollond Trust, the UK charity set up in 1996 to help share the Headless Way as widely as possible in the world. He first saw who he really was when he attended a workshop with Douglas Harding in 1970. He is committed to making this Vision as widely available as possible.
Richard has published several books: Seeing Who You Really Are, The Man With No Head, Celebrating Who You Are, Open To The Source and Everyday Seeing. Richard has also produced many videos (on YouTube) and also audio - download the free phone app The Headless Way where you will find lots of support for ongoing Seeing, including guided meditations.

Richard Lang was like an iron fist in a velvet glove at our two day workshop in DC! A bold move, Richard asked me to turn my finger back to look at who or what was doing the looking. What I saw was a world like no other, a window from sense to nonsense. Yet, that sense had no senses of its own, because the senses were clearly of the world. A mighty good it does me to have sense so clearly endowed with no senses, and nonsense to have it all! A paradox is saying too much: the great one within was hiding behind the face of a one-year old, my eternal face of wonder. Will you dare to look back? To know and drop the knowing, mere child’s play deftly brought my seeking to an end. Deep bows to Richard and Douglas Harding before him to invite me to such humility. I look forward to discovering more Headless friends who dare to play and dare to love! Let’s build a community here in DC!

I got a deeply comforting and enlivening sense of experiencing reality free of thoughts, and of the empathy with other human beings. i feel more compassionate, calm, and ready to connect without the layers of expectation, neediness, and judgment that i has become accustomed to before the workshop. thanks!

This was a very helpful supplement to my somewhat limited experience with heedlessness that I've had through listening to Richard's series on the Waking Up app. It was so much more powerful to do the experiments with others, hear how they articulated their own experiments, and just these for an entire weekend. It seemed everyone in the group had something great to contribute and I really enjoyed getting to know them and Richard!
