Last week oof, we came to terms with what we need to have courage in the testing, bending, breaking moments. We reconnected with the protective power we hold within us and we practised asking others for help when this connection feels misted and hard to reach. Now, we are equipped with a humble and mighty pack, a sweet loaf, layers of leather and wool, and a protective amulet weighing light in our pocket or round our ready necks.

Foot by foot forward on the way, grainy and stoned, wearing a smile edging on the wry. And stop, here, a gate, here, an arch way, here, the first threshold in the unknown.

This is the moment we step through the portal in the crack in the wall or the ivy gate at the bottom of the garden or the wide mouth of the whale.

The first threshold is one of commitment. It’s here that we acknowledge the trembling unknown before us and all of our lives that we leave behind. This passing, in many ways, is sacrificial, as we choose to part with our current self, in order to renew and regrow.

We’ll be thinking about what it is we need to sacrifice to be able to move forward to regenerate. Which parts of our current lives do we need to let go of? And which parts hold the tightest ropes to our wrists and our hearts? What does it mean to come apart in order to come back together whole? What does it mean to be scattered across the earth in tiny fragments of bone and tooth? What does it mean to be swallowed into the belly of the beast?

Together we will make ritual in letting go, and build a puzzle form from clay.

You'll have the option to have your made pieces fired, if you would like them fired I'm suggesting a £3 donation to cover the cost of bisque firing. Cheers :)
