The retreat will be a playful journey of our five senses and how we can use them to embody ourselves fully, to create more space in ourselves for pleasure and feel our bodies more. It will consist of playful practices in the offered facilities and surrounding nature, with enough theory to understand the concepts, and be able to dive fully into the practical experiences.
Practicals:
17th of April, Arrival:
We will start on the evening of the 17th with an opening and welcome circle, followed by dinner between 7-10pm, you may arrive earlier if you wish to accommodate yourself in the space.
18th of April, full day
On Friday we will have a full day, starting with breakfast at 9am, and later diving into the senses of vision & sound in two separate blocks. We will do explorative exercises together and you will also spend time outdoors in the green valley to explore these senses. We later come together in communion and share our experiences with each other. The day will also include served lunch and dinner and longer breaks to enjoy this artsy and creative space.
19th of April, full day
On Saturday our day will start early at 8am with breakfast, and we will dive into the senses of smell, taste and touch following the same structure as previous day. Cooking and dining will also be parts of the experiences this day, meaning participants will take part of the preparation to deepen the exploration of the senses.
20th of April, day of departure
On Sunday, our last day we will start with breakfast at 9am, followed by a last experience where we will join all senses together. There will be free time to enjoy the space and a closing circle and we will end with lunch around 3pm. The space needs to be empty by 6pm at the latest.
