Day 1: Fundamentals & Back of the Body Sequences
Opening Circle > History of the Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Method > Focus on the back of the body (back, arms, shoulder blades, shoulders, neck, and back of the legs). > Learn the massage techniques with hands and feet. > Perform a series of stretches for the back.
DAY 2 :
09:00 - 16:30
Day 2: Front of body sequences & Integration
> Focus on the front of the body (legs, belly ,chest and face ) > Perform a series of stretches for legs > Integrate Front & Back Massage sequence for full 60-min session

Day 3 : Practise Day
>Review Training > OpenClinic Practise Day. This day is reserved for the practitioners to give & receive full 60-min massage under the supervision of Ananta and his team.

What is Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM)?
Inspired by the Indian traditions of Ayurveda and modern yoga, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM) combines elements of deep tissue oil massage, calamus powder and yoga-based stretching in a single treatment with breathwork at its core, providing a holistic and therapeutic approach rooted in ayurveda yoga.
Is prior experience in massage required to join the AYM training programme?
No, our training programme is open to everyone, whether you have prior experience as a Massage Therapist or not. It’s designed to be accessible to individuals with diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
Do I need to practice or teach yoga to join an ARYM training?
No, it’s not required. Just a genuine interest in massage, stretching, and the body is all you need. Our training is designed to be accessible to all, regardless of prior yoga experience. We welcome participants from diverse backgrounds.
What should I bring to the workshop?
Bring your enthusiasm to learn. We will provide all the necessary materials for your training. Since the massage is floor based, we recommend bringing knee pads for comfort .We offer tea breaks and water during the training sessions. There will be possibility to buy vegetarian lunch boxes onsite.
What should I wear during the class?
For giving the massage, we recommend loose and comfortable clothing, such as cotton pants or shorts and a T-shirt allowing ease of movement while performing the massage. For receiving the massage, we suggest wearing stretchable underwear, avoid tight briefs. If you wear glasses, bringing a safe case
Will there be follow-up support after the workshop?
A WhatsApp/Telegram community will be created to answer any questions and queries. Based on community request regular practice sessions can be organized
What is calamus powder?
Calamus powder is a powdered form of the root of Acorus calamus plant. Used in Ayurveda for 1000 of years due to its various therapeutic properties, including antioxidants, adds a special touch and grips. It provides a scrubbing effect on the skin, helping to remove toxins and dead skin cells.
