Summer Solstice Shamanic Medicine Circle

Come and dance with the energies on the cusp of the Summer Solstice as we receive the wild medicine and guidance from our native plant allies.

We will be working with St Johns Wort and Mugwort, and the theme is unlocking our body's abundant joy. In a world where the accepted narrative often frowns on free expression and boundless joy, we can shut this stream of energy down in the body and force ourselves to inhabit more serious and rigid beliefs and patterns.

Embodied joy is our dominant organic state of being, yet so often it can feel a million miles away from our lived experience! We can be convinced we need to "work on ourselves" to access our joy, and that this state will return once we have put enough hours into our healing.

What if this belief itself was part of the conditioning and wound? That joy had to be earnt or coaxed back, rather than you drinking freely from an unlimited inner well?

Our plant allies know the truth of who we are and can plug us somatically back into these innate organic energies, without the hours of trying.
We will be working with St Johns Wort - The Joy Bringing and Mugwort - The Alchemical Mistress, to aid our earthly, soft bodies to unblock the inner reservoir of joy and let it flow again.
