The art of making fire is actually quite difficult , yes of course with matches , lighter , fire starters , its relatively easy, but i still get a lot of students and adults who cant light fire every time and with 100 % success, even with matches or a lighter . For the beginning session , i will explain and show you how to successfully light fire every time rain or sun !
"Fire is a university " - a native american elder said once ....this allows us to open and expand our minds into how much there is possible to learn about fire !!
We will go over the types of wood , sizes of wood and organising of the wood for fire making , we will also grasp how to set up fire and care take fire .
Flint and steel , alongside the sparks driven off rocks hit against each other , are the 2 oldest forms of fire making in the world . We will delve into the world of fire , using flint and steel tools , to create sparks, and I warn you it looks simpler than it is!!
