Woodland Sound - Whispers of Solstice

​Join me for my Woodland Sound Retreat — a sacred gathering and immersive journey of heart and healing, nestled in private woodland in Winchester on 28 June, 16:00–18:30.

​As the energy of the Solstice lingers, we will hold a sacred woodland ceremony, weaving together the heart-opening medicine of cacao, transcending shamanic drumming, and a relaxing sound journey. Sharing circle (optional), open fire, burning ritual, and deep connection.

Join me beneath the sacred oak tree — an ancient symbol of strength, wisdom, and spiritual grounding. We gather to listen deeply — to the Earth, to the heart, to the whispers of Mama Cacao.

​This gathering takes place just days after the Summer Solstice — a potent time when the light is at its peak, inviting us to honour the fullness of life while beginning to gently turn inward. The Solstice is a doorway between light and shadow, action and rest, growth and reflection. As nature reaches her fullest expression, so too can we — pausing to honour what we have nurtured over the spring, and opening to what is yet to come. This retreat offers a sacred moment to gather, ground, and realign with our hearts’ desires and our true inner selves.

​What to Expect

Meditation & Breathwork

We will begin by settling into the body, breath, and Mother Earth, through guided meditation. Gentle breathwork practices will help release tension and invite you to connect with your heart space, preparing you to receive the deeper healing energy of the cacao ceremony.

Heart-opening Cacao Ceremony
Charlotte will guide you in connecting with the nurturing energy of cacao, the loving ‘Mother plant’ whose sacred medicine opens the heart. Cacao holds the vibrations of kindness, unconditional love, and joy, allowing a loving connection with yourself and others. Cacao's energy is healing, motherly, and very gentle, and the spirit of Mama Cacao speaks to the heart. When we connect with the heart's energy, our voice may speak from a place of deeper intelligence, carrying vibrations of peace. We will call in the spirit of Mama Cacao, bringing peace to our mind, body, and soul.

​In this sacred Solstice moment—a time of awakening and renewal—ceremonial cacao invites you to soften the inner critic, release old patterns, and welcome compassion, self-love, and deep healing. ​Sacred Sound Journey
Charlotte’s sound journey incorporates a blend of sacred instruments designed to resonate deeply with your body, mind, and soul. The rhythmic beats of shamanic drumming will guide you into a meditative state, helping to release emotional blockages and reconnect with your heart’s rhythm. The 32 Hz chakra crystal singing bowls will clear and balance your energy centres, supporting emotional healing and energetic alignment. Finally, the deep, resonant tones of Nepalese gongs will relieve stress, revitalise your nervous system, and deepen your connection to your heart’s wisdom.

​Oracle Cards – Solstice Guidance
The Solstice offers clarity and insight—an ideal time to draw oracle cards. You’ll be invited to choose from various decks, each reflecting seasonal wisdom. What is ready to be seen? What truths are emerging? The cards mirror your inner knowing as you move from peak light towards introspection.

​​Open Fire Ritual
We’ll gather around a fire to honour release and transformation. Fire symbolises the sun and sacred letting go. You’ll be invited to write down what you’re ready to release—old stories, fears, habits—and offer it to the flames. This act clears space for new growth and alignment for the year ahead.

​​Optional Sharing Circle
At the retreat’s close, we offer a gentle sharing circle. You're welcome—but not obliged—to speak from the heart or simply listen. This space fosters connection, support, and a sense of being seen, with all voices held in trust and respect.
