An evening exploring the cyclical nature of life, and the potential of seasonal alignment in both our outer landscapes and our inner worlds. Join us for an evening of re-connection, deep belonging and re-awakening of our true nature and innate wisdom!
We will look at life through the lens of deep ecology, for the gifts it offers us to live well in relation to all beings. We explore the 4 Shields of Human Nature as an eco-soul centric model for human development, and how it supports us at each age, in each season of life, as we meet its depths again and again.
Why this Work?
Are you wanting to live a closer connection to natural rhythms and seasons?
Do you have a sense that there are gifts waiting to be unlocked within your life story?
Are you hungry for community and philosophies that illuminate deeper living, and support your felt connection to nature?
Deep Ecology is an eco-philosophy that offers us an intimate connection with the web of life. When we combine this with real life applications of cyclical and seasonal alignment, we can uncover a way of living that meets our true nature. Deepening this connection, we can look at our own development through the stages of life, and how it is that the mirror of nature holds gifts for each age and season of our lives.
Living deep ecology will open you up to the generative field of the living world, gaining insights and deep nourishment for our inner and outer landscapes, and a renewed perspective for your life’s path. Together we explore what might become possible if we act from a place of kinship and interbeing with all of life.
This event is part of a series of events in the run up to our 6 week offering “Deep Dive Into Nature And Self" in April & May 2025.
What to Expect
In this session we will explore:
- Nature’s cycles through the Celtic Wheel of the Year
- The philosophy of Deep Ecology and its real life applications

- The 4 Shields of Human Nature - a pan-cultural model of human development embedded in ecological wisdom and incorporating the soul
- Learning about practices, ceremony and longer immersions in nature to support our development through the 4 shields
- Guidance on embodied practices for embedding this wisdom in your everyday life
This is for you if you:
- Have a hunger to deepen your connection to the natural world around you
- Want to live in deeper alignment with nature's cycles and seasons
- Wish to explore the gifts and challenges of each stage of life
- Would like to uncover your own unique offering as part of the web of life

“Deep ecology does not separate humans - or anything else - from the natural environment. It does see the world not as a collection of isolated objects but as a network of phenomena that are fundamentally interconnected and interdependent.”
