This retreat is an invitation to reconnect with the profound wisdom of the heart, guided by sacred plants and heart-centered healing practices. Over the course of six transformative days, we will weave together ancient traditions and modern modalities, creating a space for deep personal healing and spiritual alignment.

Our journey will include Huachumo and Amazonian Grandmother ceremonies, cleansing with tobacco, traditional Temazcal, flower baths, communing with the supremely nurturing medicine of the Rose and powerful meditations designed to awaken the heart's energy. Each day unfolds with practices that harmonize body, mind, and spirit—such as yoga, breathwork, sound healing, and a Bach flower-making workshop—allowing us to reconnect to the natural flow of life.

These sacred experiences, held within the lush jungles of Casa Arkaana, provide a nurturing environment to release old patterns, cleanse emotional blockages, and embrace your luminous spirit. With free time to reflect, swim in the pool, or explore the nearby cenotes, you’ll also have the opportunity to deepen your healing journey with optional Myofascial Release Massage, Akashic Record readings, or a Mapacho consultation.

TOBACCO CLEANSE

Tobacco (Mapacho) is a plant which provides purification, guidance, protection and is a very effective ally for releasing stagnant and sticky energy. Juan Carlos utilises tobacco purges as a way to help people energetically and physically prepare their bodies for ceremonies and healing journeys, guiding the process with Amazonian chants and prayers. This deeply cleansing process will clear out density from our physical, mental, emotional and energetic body giving a sense of clarity and renewal.

GRANDMOTHER MEDICINE CEREMONY

Coming from a long cultural lineage and with over 20 years experience preparing and serving this medicine, Juan Carlos is a guide you can trust in for this powerful healing ceremony. Through melodic sounds and Shipibo chanting, we harmonize mind, body and spirit. The spirit of this plant works intelligently to help you to gain a broader perspective on your life situation, as the soul expands beyond the physical body to the place of spirit, for diving healing, revelation and transformation.

CACAO & ROSE CEREMONY & VOICE ACTIVATION

To close this restorative day intended to replenish your energy and create deep trust, softness and alignment in the body, we will continue our work with plant ally’s of the heart - gathering in candlelight to spend a nourishing evening communing with the heart expanding and endorphin inducing medicines of Cacao and Rose, sharing our voices through song and expression in a beautiful ceremony of gratitude, intention and reciprocity that will leave you feeling truly resourced and embodied for the days yet to come.

HUACHOMO CENOTE EXPLORATION

Guided by the wisdom of the Andean Grandfather (Huachumo), a sacred ancestral medicine, we will deeply connect with the beauty of nature as we walk through the Mayan Jungle to a beautiful crystalline cenote. Traditionally, this medicine is communed with during the day, fortifying unity with nature whilst bringing strength, clarity, healing and connection.

TEMAZCAL AND PLANT BATH

Temazcal is a traditional ceremony from the Americas, commonly known as sweat lodge or steam bath which is deeply rooted in indigenous traditions and serves as a purification ritual for the mind, body and spirit. The temazcal is a representation of the womb and rebirth. This beautiful ceremony will be guided through rituals, chants and prayers. As we rebirth from the temazcal, we will be bathed in a flower bath of jungle plants, Mapacho, flowers (rose & calendula), and flower essences carried in sacred waters.

YOGA & MEDITATION

This deeply healing, holistic practice is a powerful tool to help us align all of our bodies (mental, physical, energetic, emotional), bringing our awareness to our inner landscape and helping us cultivate a sense of presence, clarity and spaciousness in our lives. This alllevels yoga flow will be carefully tailored to the group and journey, potentializing the benefits of all the other activities and experiences that we will be moving through during the retreat.

SOUND HEALING

This sound healing will harness the power of specialized and native instruments to create vibrations that promote deep relaxation and inner balance. Through the resonance of singing bowls, flutes, chimes and much more, participants experience a therapeutic soundscape that releases tension, reduces stress, and fosters emotional healing. This immersive experience supports physical well-being, enhances a state of meditation, and facilitates a deeper connection to oneself.

WHITE SAND BEACH EXCURSION

The Mayan Riviera is home to some of the most beautiful beaches on this blue planet. We will have the option of visiting a breath-taking beach where we can commune with the cleansing and restorative waters, integrating our experiences into our everyday life. We will allow the waters to cleanse our whole being, connecting with the powerful healing properties of this element that represents our emotional body.

BACH FLOWER MAKING WORKSHOP

We will receive tools to bring back to our everyday life in a Bach Flower Making Workshop, where we will create our own medicines and flower remedies to enhance emotional well-being. Discover the principles of this healing system, exploring the energetic frequencies of the vegetal realm. In this hands-on experience, we will prepare remedies that we will take home with us, deepening our connection to nature and learning to harness the healing power of plants.

ROSE HEALING

Connect with the heart’s essence in a nourishing and restorative meditative integration journey allowing the layers of the heart to unfurl with the Medicine of the Rose. The Rose is well known for her heart opening, protective and purifying qualities - containing an impressive strength and light that works on the illumination of the energy layers of the aura, emotions and thoughts - working to restructure, balance, restore and purify both our physical and energetic bodies. In this euphoric healing experience, bathe in sacred sounds and chants intelligently applied to work in harmony with the Rose for a deeply nourishing and restorative experience.

INTEGRATION CIRCLES 

During our 6 day journey, we will have several Integration Circles, providing a safe space for participants to assimilate their experiences and deepen their healing journey. These circles encourage open sharing, reflection, and connection, in a supportive circle of trust. Through guided discussions and mindfulness tools, participants will explore how to integrate insights and lessons into their everyday lives. This nurturing environment allows for the processing of emotions and the development of actionable steps, ensuring that the transformative experiences of the retreat extend far beyond its conclusion.

CEREMONY OF GRATITUDE & DESPACHO

A Ceremony of Gratitude to the Earth, is a heartfelt gathering dedicated to honoring our planet and all it provides. We will engage in rituals that foster connection, including communal offerings, heartfelt prayers, and shared reflections. Accompanied by chants of reconnection we will celebrate the beauty of nature and express our appreciation. This ceremony cultivates awareness and strengthens our bond with the Earth. We will close our journey together in unity and reverence, as we honor our shared home and commit to nurturing her for the generations yet to come.
