The main aims of playfighting are fun, exploration and deeper-connection; but it's important to know it can also be a tool for insight, understanding and transformation -in yourself and your relationships.
It's a rare opportunity in our world to give ourselves the permission to meet other bodies close-up in ways that aren't sexual, sporting or aggressive. And yet most of us can relate to the aliveness of wrangling in this way as children, or watching animals instinctually do the same.
In Playfighting we return to innocence, so that as adults we can explore our strength and sensations together, in a trusting and consensual context. This way we become aware of our competitive strategies, and how they can play-out outside of our safe arena. Then we can change and overcome adversities in new ways as confidence grows.
These sessions include plenty of games, some techniques, physical play, conscious competition and energetic catharsis [at everybody's own level] - with plenty of time to spar in a held Playfighting ring.
Activities are all self-regulated and the events are suitable for all bodies, abilities, and levels of confidence...
"...I felt challenged and safe the whole time. I was amazed at how quickly connections ran deep with people, and it was a very lighthearted way to learn a lot about myself...” Charlie
"So Much Fun! ...I haven't laughed so much in ages. Rozi is an enthusiastic, clear and engaging teacher" Sarah "I feel great! Like a gym and playground all rolled into one" Andrew
"Really accessible & safe. Despite my health restrictions, I could participate & was supported..... Thx to Rozi for putting on such a breakthrough adventurous safe space. She manges to weave so much fun & play into these beautiful sessions." Richard
"Down to earth and fun but also nourishing and healing and life-giving" "I feel closer to my inner lion-cub as a result and am still 4 days later riding the high from the session. I've been talking about it to people non-stop."
"Great fun. A tonic to the serious job of living... I hooted with laughter, roared with anger and giggled with joy."
"I arrived with my body hurting in a bad way and left with it hurting in a good way!"
"Absolutely loved being able to explore my power"

A truly beautiful weekend of self-exploration, group interaction, word craft and magic, wonderfully tended and guided by Tom and Rozi - whose compassion, skill and warmth shine from every part of each carefully constructed activity. I loved every moment of it - and was really impressed by the way it fitted together and built towards the final session. Overall, I was genuinely touched by the experience.

I experienced Rozzie and Tom’s exquisite tender and understated welcome and their witnessing of everyone’s journey in the group (and the group as an entity in itself) very touching and moving. I have nothing but mountain-sized thanks to these two phosphorescent souls and their gentle guidance. Be warned, you will not want to leave the cosy nest they carefully craft for these weekends, a place where your words are coaxed up into a poetic murmuration of your deepest expression. What an utter delight.
