Makam Salam is a groundbreaking collective of musicians, artists, and allies from diverse backgrounds—including Palestinian, Israeli, Iranian, Lebanese, Turkish, and UK artists—united through music, storytelling, poetry, and live art. Their performances create immersive, transformative spaces for empathy, understanding, and coexistence, breaking down barriers and bringing people together across cultures.

After launching with a major concert at Stone Nest, London, featuring over 20 artists—including the globally acclaimed Mira Awad, NOA, and Broken Fingaz on live visuals—Makam Salam continues its journey into 2025, blending deep musical traditions in a way that is both rooted in heritage and boldly innovative.

The Makam Salam House Band is made up of world-class musicians who have performed at some of the finest festivals and venues, including London EFG Jazz Festival, WOMAD, Barbican, and Kings Place. With their dynamic fusion of Middle Eastern, jazz, folk, and global sounds, they craft improvised musical landscapes that transcend genre and geography.
